My Translation: 6 Therefore it was preached to the dead that they might be truly judged against humans in flesh but they might live against God in spirit.
KJV: 6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
My translations are purposefully stretched and should not be viewed as more accurate than the KJV translation unless I say so in the post. I'm trying to show the range lying between the original Greek text and the English.
I have not yet begun work on a post to discuss this Scripture Mastery selection, but I've posted up my translation until I finish the post.
